Microfinance can help

ENLACE is envolved in microcredit to a number of people in El Salvador. Although, such a strategy is not a cure all for poverty, it has proven to be a powerful way to help people create sustainable means of income.  The following is a documentary by the foundation of Muhammed Yunnus, Nobel Peace Prize winner and a leader in fighting global poverty.  It provides some incredible information regarding the complexities of poverty, but also offers hope.

We should care more because of Christ

The UN is in the middle of a multi year effort to reach a series of ambitious goals to reduce, if not eliminate, extreme poverty. How amazing a testimony of Christ's love if we as Christians cared about such goals more than anyone else. Even more amazing if we were known by our dedication to serving the least and lost in the world, and loving in radical ways. Why can't some of the following goals be part of our effort to bring the amazing gospel of Jesus Christ to the world? Watch...
